Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet

What an awesome day to be in the water! We had high temperatures around 90 degrees and a nice breeze and calm seas. Fishing this week has been nonstop Tunas the past few days but man did we have a pleasant surprise today. In addition to tons of Yellowfin and Mahi Mahi BUT we also had an incredible day of MARLIN FISHING!! They are here we are sure it will be touch and go here for the next month or so but full on Marlin Season will be here before you know it! Everything in the ocean is biting right now you don’t want to miss this!

A special congrats is in order to the Sandra D, Captain Mike Merritt, and Mate Chad Dunn with the first Billfish Grand Slam of the 2017 Charter season! They came back to the docks with a Blue Marlin, White Marlin and a Sailfish flag flying high on the riggers! Congrats captain, crew, and anglers!

Our Nearshore fleet had a bit of a mixed catch as well! They came back to the docs with Tilefish, Amber Jacks, Spanish Mackerel and even a few Mahi Mahi that made their way close to shore
