PCBT Final Day - and That's a Wrap!
Another successful Billfish Tournament is in the books here at Pirate's Cove! Great fun, food and fishing was had by all. Congrats to our own Rob Barker and the Desperado NC Crew for what appears to be their second consecutive PCBT win! (The Awards Ceremony is getting started soon and we will have official results). Good Kharma is real y'all - after working all night to tow another boat back to the docks, they went out Thursday with little to no sleep and got the job done!! What a great group of sportsmen! We are so proud to have them in our fleet! Today's Offshore fishing was a little less eventful as many boats had their lay day. Still, the bite remained strong throughout the tournament! Nearshore and Inshore boats reported catches of Tilefish, Ribbonfish, Spanish Mackerel, Amberjack and Speckled Trout. Congratulations to the following anglers who filled out citations today for their catches: Eric Schavey with a White Marlin Release and Aiden Evans for his Citation Amberjack! Way to go guys!
