Tunas and Mackerel
They made it out! The wind and the seas calmed down a good amount today and all the boats were able to get out on the water! Our offshore fleet had a great catch of Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna today! They had to search for them a little bit but they ended up having a nice catch this afternoon! You don’t want to miss the Tuna while they are here because soon enough they will be gone for a few months and the billfish will be headed here!
Our nearshore fleet had an awesome catch today of Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Moonfish, and lots of Bluefish! Great day to be fishing all around and when the weather isn’t as hot as it has been and the wind is blowing just enough it is hard to beat!
