Summer Camp: The Voice of Columbia
Event Description:
Music teacher Sue Swaim helps students discover their voice at this week-long summer camp offered by Pocosin Arts. Campers learn the elements of songwriter, harmonizing, rhythm, improvisational skills and more as they compose original songs and participate in ensembles. The session ends with a class performance.
This camp is divided into two groups. Ages six through nine will meet at 201 Main St. in the Clay Studio from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Students ages 10 through 18 will meet at the Clay Studio from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
