Event Description:
Explore the art of storytelling, theatrics and parade preparation within this workshop that teaches students how to create giant puppets. Look into puppet-creations as an ancient art form and make your own from start to finish that you can then present in the Scuppernong River Festival Parade on October 12. Jane Filer leads this workshop and shows students simple puppet and costume-making techniques as they practice their skills at puppet making.
