Join three of the most innovative voices in American traditional music - Joseph Decosimo, Luke Richardson, and Cleek Schrey - for an unforgettable evening of reimagined Southern and Appalachian sounds. Performing as Beehive Cathedral, the trio blends fiddle, banjo, Hardanger d’amore, and 19th-century pump organ to explore deep-rooted traditions with a fresh, experimental edge. Their 2024 debut album, released on Dear Life Records, has been praised by Irish fiddle legend Martin Hayes as “hypnotic… grounded, subtle, and refined.”

Catch them live on Friday, October 10, from 7:30 to 9:30 PM at the Outer Banks Brewing Station, presented by the Don and Catharine Bryan Cultural Series. Experience old-time music like you’ve never heard it before.

This event is brought to you by the Don and Catharine Bryan Cultural Series, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cultural enrichment through diverse artistic and educational events on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Watch Your Step -- With the red flags flying today indicating no swimming, there's quite a few beach walkers out and about. Keep an eye out for Portuguese man o’ war, a siphonophore that resembles a jellyfish and has a painful sting. They've been seen up and down the beaches.

The Portuguese Man o' War is a highly venomous marine siphonophore--not a jellyfish--that floats on the ocean surface using a gas-filled bladder.

Its long tentacles can deliver a powerful, painful sting to prey and humans, and it is found in tropical and temperate oceans worldwide. ....and along the beaches of Corolla this weekend. 🪼 Careful out there, y'all.

Say hey to John, one of our Red Sky kitchen champs who’s been with us for over a year and he's been bringing the good vibes to the kithchen.
Originally from Elizabeth City, John’s a part of our kitchen team and Chefs on Call / Catering crew. A go-to guy when things need to get done (and taste amazing).
When he’s not slinging plates or working the line, John’s probably dreaming of his next adventure. He’s already been to Italy, Paris, and the Bahamas (yes, his passport is definitely cooler than ours).
We love John and his energy, dedication, and how he shows up with a great attitude every single time.
