This is Aurora, one of our lovely visitors today! Here at NC Coast, we absolutely adore dogs, and we’re thrilled to welcome them to hang out on our waterfront porch! Just a little reminder to their parents to keep them on a leash and help them make new friends. We love to see wagging tails! 🐾

Everybody gets excited when there's a new turtle nest--and it looks like this one has an extra special guardian keeping watch.🐢🐎

Our tour guide extraordinaire, Cheryl "Shorty" zoomed in for this special shot on her tour yesterday.

It's Turtle Season here in Corolla, and the perfect time to mention the importance of making sure you refill any holes that you dig, and to deconstruct any sand art that you might create. Use caution and obey the speed limit on the beach and of course, maintain at least a 50-ft space between you, the horses, turtle nests, and all of the amazing creatures that we share this beach with.

One of the lesser known bits of information about our company is that we purchase and maintain property in the 4x4 area for the sole purpose of keeping it undeveloped as a reserve and protected space for the horses.
