To thank our hard-working employees for their labor during our first eight months in business, we’re taking Labor Day off for Employee Appreciation Day! The whole crew is loaded up on the bus and we’re heading to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for the day for a fun-filled day in “The Old Country” during BierFest, the largest craft beer festival in Virginia. The Tavern is closed today and we invite you to join us tomorrow when we re-open at 11:00AM for regularly scheduled business…HAPPY LABOR DAY!!!

Our staff has labored incredibly hard this year getting our business off the ground and executing an incredibly successful summer season. Over the past two decades, Paul & Sharon always closed on Labor Day to do something special with the staff. In that spirit, to express our gratitude, the restaurant will be CLOSED ON LABOR DAY MONDAY so we can treat our entire team to a fun day at Busch Gardens Williamsburg! We appreciate all the time each of our teammates has taken to learn and execute a new menu of British & Irish food, and we are beyond fortunate to have such a fantastic group of people bringing their love and passion to each and every shift for locals and visitors alike. CHEERS TO EVERY ONE OF YOU!!!

On August 26, Ronnie Sloan, CEO of the Outer Banks Hospital, announced that the Outer Banks Urgent Care Centers are available to handle prescription refills for individuals who do not have a primary care provider. The Town of Manteo and the Healthcare Task Force are pleased to hear this announcement and encourage our community members seeking prescription drug refills to contact an Outer Banks Urgent Care Center.

Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament is always the kick off to the Fall catering season & a time where we get to catch up with a lot of great friends we have made over the years catering the tournament!
