Check out this incredible footage taken with tour guide extraordinaire, Rick.

In this clip, you can see a piebald deer, which are white-tailed deer--white in appearance with patches of brown in their coat. The piebald deer are not albino as they have brown eyes and black hooves. Making up only 1% of the deer population, this species of deer are quite uncommon.

Still dreaming of an Outer Banks getaway? September and October are GREAT times to visit, with the crowds dying down, cooler breezes, and tons of local events. Pier Pressure in Nags Head is close to all the fun and within walking distance of the grocery store, shops, restaurants, and the beach!

Roadside snackin'...

Eeeeeee!!! We nearly pulled a muscle over the weekend, keeping the giddy news under wraps so we could allow momma and baby some bonding time--but now that word is out.....

There's a new baaaaby! Our tour guide extraordinaire, Rick said "She was pregnant on my 10:00 tour and not on my 1:30 tour." And boom, there was the filly.

As always, we encourage you to offer space, respect and lots of distance to these and all the horses.

We love it when our guests travel from all over to fulfill their dreams of seeing the wild horses of Corolla.

But when locals book a tour with our company--well, that's just so validating. We never take for granted the fact that of all of the great options for horse tours on this beach, they choose us.

Up with the sun (and often before it,) our tour guide extraordinaire, Rick, captured this moment after hurricane Erin rolled through, churning up the surf and rearranging the shoreline. "After the big storm, we were checking out the terrain for the upcoming day and this is what we ran into... The calm after the storm!"

Just breathtaking. These are some of the moments we find most rewarding about what we do.
