Join us for the 1st Annual Chili Cook Off! This event is family friendly and for a great cause. Categories are Beef, Vegetarian or Other $20 Tasting Fee All Proceeds To The Brown Family Cash is preferred for the tasting fee. We will have a 50/50 Raffle (cash), will be drawn every 30 minutes (must be present to win)! If you are interested in bringing a batch of your signature chili to this event, send an message our facebook page to enter. We will accept entries until 2/9. There is no entry fee, you just have to prepare the chili.

Open at 11 a.m. -- The pier re-opens today. A cold wind is raking across the ocean and the sun is trying to break through the cloud cover. Ocean water temp 38 degrees and N winds at 11 knots. Air temp 35 degrees. Low tide at 9:37 a.m. High tide 3:04 p.m. No one is fishing but Sammy reports that four youngsters jumped into the sea this morning at sunrise and swam around a bit.

Jason's Restaurant will be open for normal business hours and will have full menu however no specials for the rest of the week. Please be very careful as there is still lots of snow and ice on the roads and parking lots.
