This October, we're making great food, celebrating survivors, and raising funds for cancer awareness, all in one unforgettable night.
Join us on OCTOBER 29th at 6PM for SUPERHEROES IN PINK, the first of our fall Dinner & Drink series. It features a chef-curated 5-course menu by Chef Wes Stepp paired with mixologist-crafted cocktails. It's fall flavor with a pink-powered twist.
Tickets are $80, and a portion of the proceeds will support cancer awareness efforts at The Outer Banks Hospital.
This is more than a dinner—it's a chance to do good while eating and drinking well.

Visit the farm in Grandy and meet the rescued Banker horses currently in their care, and spend time with their staff. Attend a free screening of "The Secret of Corolla," a 32-minute documentary on the Banker mustangs, the culture, and lifestyle of the island, followed by a Q&A with the CWHF staff.

The Afterschool Program is in full swing, and we wanted to check in with what our participants are up to this week!

So far, the weekly activities have been packed with variety: we had Cast of Characters Theater Class, Board Game Bonanza, Choir, Upcycled Crafts, and GET OUT(side) Seed Hunt. Debbie guided the kids through making creme puffs (and yes, they were delicious!), the Construction Crew built bridges, Lou Castro taught ukulele lessons, students squared off in chess club, putting their best strategies to the test.

From music to baking to games of wit, the afternoons are full of creativity, learning, and fun!

Join us for the 3rd Annual Pubkin Patch Kid’s Event on October 11th (rain date: October 25th) at the Outer Banks Brewing Station Backyard! From 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, enjoy fall-themed treats, free pony rides, a petting zoo, pumpkin painting, and more! 🐴🎨

Proceeds from this event will benefit Surfing for Autism.❤️
