A chilly, but full weekend!

The Drum bite in Ocracoke has been great. Kerry and Bobby (and their pup) had fun catching Citation, slots and over slot drum.

Today we saw some reports of Tuna out of Oregon Inlet. @fishwidespread was in on the action.

Spring is officially here but we can't help but wish it was summer already... waiting for Warm temps, Sunshine, and calm seas!

Looks like we are not the only ones that enjoy a lazy start to a Sunday.

From our tour guide extraordinaire, Tree, about this moment on Friday afternoon's tour, "It was around 1 in the afternoon. A bit breezy but beautiful and warm. The horses came running out of the dunes in front of us and we stopped to allow them their space--then just as quickly as they ran, they just started taking a long walk on the beach.They had no care at all that we were there...probably in search of some pina coladas while getting caught in the rain 😏😉"

Tree, along with all of our tour guides, remind you to keep a safe and respectable distance from the horses at all times.

Pier Director Mike Remige gives Pam Cashwell a tour of the facility this morning. She was recently confirmed as our new Secretary for the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. Sec. Cashwell walked out to the end of the pier, visited Oceanview Hall, shopped in our Pier shop and visited with staff. NC Department of Natural & Cultural Resources
