This weather is for the birds! Rain all morning and solid cloud cover at lunch time. So far, SPOT and FLOUNDER (released). Wind E at 12 knots. Water temp 78 degrees. Looks like clouds are headed out to sea for the afternoon. Pic by Bodhi

OBX Skim Jam -- Partly sunny this morning with plenty of cloud cover. Anglers have picked up SPOT and SPANISH MACKEREL so far. Dead calm with tiny waves and glassy conditions. High tides 10:38 a.m. and 10:37 p.m. Low 4:30 p.m. Come out to fish and watch the skim jam contest!
