Welcome back to Thursday's GREET THE GUIDES, where you'll get a little behind-the-scenes peek at this year's awesome team.

Meet Dean.

In his 5-year tenure as one of our guest-favorite tour guides, Dean consistently offers insightful, entertaining and educational adventures. He comes to W.H.A.T. with a lifetime of experience having spent many years on the beach. "My family bought land in Corolla when it was sand roads and we built a house in the 90’s," he says, adding "Some of my most memorable experiences were when my family would drive up to the four wheel drive area to spend the day on the beach. My three daughters have grown up with the horses on the beach."

Dean, who is a certified Professional Association of Diving Instructor, spends his winters in Virginia and spring and summer on the Outer Banks, living in Corolla. He is currently "retired" but thoroughly enjoys thd opportunity to show other people the wonders of driving on the beach and finding the wild horses.
