Outer Banks Beyond catching THE sweetest moments with Amelia and Finola.

We continue to offer momma and baby space to bond...but one of our tours happened upon Amelia and her foal, Finola, last week. We were awed and delighted by the surprise. Momma and baby were by unfazed.😁

From high atop the Currituck lighthouse, no matter the direction, the view is incredible. And we happened to spy with our little eye, something that is fun, adventurous, and informative!

From our tour guide extraordinaire, Tree, about this moment on Friday afternoon's tour, "It was around 1 in the afternoon. A bit breezy but beautiful and warm. The horses came running out of the dunes in front of us and we stopped to allow them their space--then just as quickly as they ran, they just started taking a long walk on the beach.They had no care at all that we were there...probably in search of some pina coladas while getting caught in the rain 😏😉"

Tree, along with all of our tour guides, remind you to keep a safe and respectable distance from the horses at all times.

Sweet Finola is the first foal of the 2025 season.

Mother, Amelia, and baby seem to be doing wonderfully!

While we always encourage caution and respect around the horses, we absolutely double down when it comes to the new babies and their mommas. Please keep a significant distance so as not create any undue stress.

Oh, what a beauty she is!!
