Our favorite mixologist, Holden McOwen, is hosting another fun filled Kiiind Cocktails event this Sunday in beautiful downtown Manteo! Check out some words from our host below.

"This Sunday, join us for the ultimate farewell to summer and a grand welcome to fall at our BBQ Showdown!

We are excited to announce that our next event will be on September 15th in Downtown Manteo! We will be providing you with a plethora of delicious BBQ items and sides, as well as three wonderfully paired cocktails. We invite any and all local BBQ company to bring their most beloved BBQ item to showcase their product and get a chance to win the “Best BBQ Crown” which will be voted on at the end of the event.

We will be doing a merchandise raffle with Kiiind & OBX Day Drinking Society items to raise funds for our beloved, local Uber driver Mrs. Lisa Gum’s medical bills.

We will have live music by Night Routine, games in the yard, and as always, a mixology class to end the event!"

Fall is in the air and we couldn't be happier. Check out our beach from Byrd Street to hear about all of the events and activities going on around the Outer Banks this week.

Learn to fish the surf! Depending on the conditions and season, you can catch Spanish mackerel, bluefish, sea mullet, perch, red drum, black drum, speckled trout, grey trout, puffer fish, pompano, sheepshead, sharks and flounder. Your instructor, Brendan, brings a wealth of knowledge of surf fishing in the local Corolla area and will provide all of the fishing tackle, gear and bait you will need to have a fun and successful fishing trip. His favorite fish to catch are red drum and sharks because of the fight!
