Did you know we are still offering Take Out options for dining? We we work our way through the Winter, expect some creative casual dinners as well as the upscale options we are best known for. We have been continuing to offer food To Go since 2020, but have not advertised as much during the busy times and on special occasion nights (Thanksgiving, New Year's Eve) we have had to put it on hold. Nevertheless, it's still an option nightly - just give us a call and we will set up a good pick up time for you!

Thank you everyone for a fantastic 2021. We are so grateful for our amazing hard working staff. They worked so hard to take care of all of our customers. We are thankful for all of our customers that were understanding of us being short staffed and supply chain shortages. We will be closed for the next 3 weeks to give our staff a vacation and to do building repairs. See everyone on Wednesday the 26th for another great year.

First up in old CVR cottages with a brand new look for 2022, Toad Hall! Toad Hall has been in our rental program since the very beginning and has charmed some repeat renters into visiting every year for nearly as long. This home was the last designed and built by Stephen Twine, who is credited with fathering the "Old Nags Head Style" of architecture. Honoring that history while keeping the home modern and fresh can be a challenge, but we think some of the recent updates have really nailed it. A little fresh paint in the living room while leaving the majority of the original tongue and groove paneling has brightened up the space, and some new furnishings, carpet, and appliances will keep guests comfortable all summer. The best part? The home backs up to Jockey's Ridge State Park, a 500 acre natural area with the best sunsets on the Outer Banks.

One of our favorite groups — so far — The ROMEOs! "Retired Old Men Eating Out." Glad we're on their radar regularly. And Rufus is still the cook of the day.
