The Goombays crew is ready for a much needed break! In facing this 2020 season, the Goombays team rose to the challenge, working hard to improvise, adapt and overcome. With the patience and support of you-our local patrons and seasonal visitors alike, Goombays survived the toughest season in our history.

We cannot express enough gratitude for all of the love and support in 2020. We look forward to seeing you in the Spring! May the New Year bring you and yours happiness, good health and a renewed spirit! -Charlie & Karen

Tentative reopening date February 12, 2021

TRiO is a market, a gathering spot, a bar AND a restaurant. Our restaurant menu features casually inventive fare with a selection of cheese and charcuterie, fresh salads, panini, inspired small plates and entrees and scratch-made desserts. We serve lunch and dinner daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. We also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a special brunch menu. We are OPEN ALL WINTER!

Just a reminder that while most other restaurants have now closed for winter, Muffins and Scones is still open daily 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Come in for a Keylime Pound Cake or another baked goodie, a cup of coffee, a bagel, a cup of soup or a sandwich. We'll be here all winter!

It's our 38th year on the Outer Banks!
We are open Wednesday through Sunday 7 a.m. to noon for breakfast, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for lunch. On weekends, lunch runs until 2 p.m.

We have an amazing, varied and affordable breakfast and lunch menu! We are practicing all guidelines issued by the State of N.C. and require masks when you enter the building. Plus we have safe, partitioned booths with guards that allow both privacy and safety. We would love to be part of your OBX experience!

Happy New Year y’all!!! May this 2021 make up for last year although many silver linings happened and we are truly thankful for those beautiful moments!!! We have decided to reopen January 12 instead of the 5th so we have time to get all the prep, pack up Christmas and get our inventory done. One thing 2020 has taught us is life is short.... enjoy ever moment.....so taking a little extra time to spend together as a family. ✌️❤️???2021

Had a conversation with couple about new year resolution. Got a permission from them to post about a conversation.

Girl said is it good? and is it worth it? Guy said 2 weeks later you will be giving up so why... So I told a story how we opened Freshfit:

It started i was trying new year resolution healthy eating, working out. I was giving up but Steven supported me and tried together we did amazing transformation together. steven lost 65lbs I lost 35lbs.

There was so many ups & downs, giving up & so many cheat meals. But there is nothing wrong with it.

We supported each other and went back to our goal. When I decide to quite my job to open restaurant most people I talked to said that's crazy idea. no one will eat healthy on their vacation. Even family remember called me that I am an inconsistent person always talking about trying things and starting new different things. But Steven supported me and believed me even he quite his job to help me.

In my opinion you set 10 goals as new year resolution. If you achieve at least 1 or 2 It's better than you don't have any goal at all. It's also take 1 person to believe in you that you can do it.

Please support each other motivate others who is giving up on their goal.

Happy New Year!!! We wanted to take a moment today and say THANK YOU to everyone who supported us and trusted in us to serve them and keep them safe this year! Your generosity, kindness, understanding and love have been the key to our success in a year that was truly like no other and for that we are forever grateful!!! FRIDAY and SATURDAY 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. (by law, no alcoholic drinks will be served after 9 p.m.)
We are still going to be offering dine in, at 50% capacity, and Take Out through our online ordering system. Don't forget to check the family dinner menu (Take Out Only). A very affordable way to provide delicious meals to a big group!
