Captain Peele was born and raised in Manteo, got his own boat and age 8 and has spent his entire life crabbing, shrimping, fishing and hunting in the Outer Banks waters. A fourth-generation commercial fisherman and a SeaTow captain, he is a highly experienced waterman with a vast knowledge of the local waters, and he passed the traditions of the water down to three sons.
