CAPT. MIKE MERRITT began fishing off the Outer Banks in the late 1960's alongside the original fisherman to explore the waters off Oregon Inlet. His fishing experience extends far beyond the Outer Banks with stints in Venezuela, Bermuda, Mexico, Panama and the US Virgin Islands. He has competed in tournaments all over the world. Tournaments are a specialty for Capt. Merritt and he has over 15 recorded first place wins. He has also placed on the leader's board many times. The SANDRA D is a 58' Custom Carolina built in 2008. Powered with twin 1,050 HP C-18 CAT engines, the boat will quickly and comfortably get you to the fishing rounds.
