The Lost ColonyDare Nights for Locals

The Lost Colony is pleased to announce its “Dare Nights” for locals as the first 3 Fridays in June – the 2^nd, 9^th, and 16^th. “Dare Nights” support our local food pantries. All locals are invited to attend the 80^th Anniversary Season of The Lost Colony for donations of non-perishable food items to local food pantries on these nights. This is an excellent opportunity to get a seat for this landmark season while aiding local families in need. “Dare Nights” are sponsored by Midgett Insurance Agency. Midgett is proud to be a part of this long-standing community event.

The June 2^nd “Dare Night” performance benefits Roanoke Island Food Pantry, the June 9^th “Dare Night” performance benefits Beach Food Pantry and the June 16^th “Dare Night” performance benefits Lifeline Outreach OBX. The show starts at 7:45 PM and theatre guests are encouraged to arrive early.  Tickets will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.  In addition to the food or dry goods donations, residents are required to show proof of Dare County residency, such as a driver’s license or utility bill.  Pre-performance donation collection begins at 6:00 PM.  Recommended items for the food drive include canned vegetables, fruits, meats, soups and beans; tomato and pasta products; cereals; toilet paper and paper towels.  There are no rain checks with these free tickets.
