Roanoke Island Oyster Shellabration & BBQ
The Roanoke Island Historical Association (RIHA) is proud to announce the second annual Shellabration and BBQ event! Building on the momentum of last years inaugural event success, this year’s event will feature an expanded lineup of North Carolina oyster farmers and additional local barbecue vendors. Guests will have the opportunity to sample oysters from North Carolina growers and enjoy a variety of regional food specialties. Shucked and roasted oysters will be served alongside barbecue, chowders, biscuits, desserts, and entertainment will include live music by local band, Partly Crowdy.
Your ticket includes all food, two drink tickets and live entertainment. Ample parking will be available.
All oyster shells will be recycled in collaboration with the Coastal Federation, and there will be someone onsite to discuss Oyster Farming in North Carolina.
