Event Description:
Celebrate Independence Day in true Manteo style as we kick off America’s 250th! Join the Town of Manteo for an unforgettable Fourth of July celebration filled with community spirit, waterfront views, and festive fun all day and night for all ages. The streets downtown are full of children and their families, neighbors and visitors alike joining in the festivities celebrating independence day.
Evening event details:
- 6:00–9:00 PM - Head to George Washington Creef Park for a party in the park with music from DJ Mixin Mike, children’s games, and a lineup of food trucks serving up classic favorites. Stroll, shop, and soak in the atmosphere as you explore downtown—where you can enjoy your favorite beverages within the Downtown Manteo Social District.
- 9:15 PM - Fireworks start over Shallowbay Bay
