Duck Turkey Trot 5K
After a three-year break, a beloved Outer Banks holiday tradition is making its return. The Duck Turkey Trot 5K is back in the heart of Duck on Thanksgiving morning inviting families, runners, and walkers to kick off the holiday with a fun and festive start! Prizes (Pies from Sweaterbox Confections!) will be awarded to first male and first female finishers. Prizes will also be awarded randomly to racers. This race is not chip timed. Top finishers will be posted, but all times will not be posted. There will be a race clock with the time displayed. No Pets Please.
The Packet Pickup Party will be at Swellsa Brewing Duck Dive Bar in Duck on Wednesday evening before the race. The race day party at the start/finish will be at Treehouse Cafe & Coffee in Scarborough Faire. Come walk or run and enjoy the party!
This event is produced by the First Flight Track Club, a local 501 C-3 nonprofit which helps youth runners in Dare County
