Tradewinds Tackle ShopFirst "Official" Report of 2026!

Good morning, it's a beautiful day on the beach! It's been a bit of a long and cold winter but we have a week of warmer temps and south winds that will warm the waters up, and the drum bite is going to heat up as well.

This week we've been hearing mostly shark the last couple days. There have been a lot of folks out with bait and lures, so we're hoping to hear some goods news. The island is waking up with a lot of of businesses opening up in the next week or so. If you have any questions about what's going on down here, give us a call at the shop. We're open 8am - 5pm, 7 days a week with hours expanding soon.
