Event Description:
Formula was formed in 2001 by guitarist/vocalist Matt Hoggard, bassist Jason Ribeiro and drummer Jayson “Mole” Hicks. The band has been blowing away coastal Carolina and Virginia audiences with its hard-driving rhythms and intelligent jams of original material and carefully chosen covers. The band draws influences from many artists including the Beatles, Phish, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, The Grateful Dead, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, The Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule and Conway Twitty.
