We are excited to welcome all the anglers joining us on the Outer Banks this week who will be participating in the 72nd Annual Nags Head Surf Fishing Tournament. Whether you have traveled to the island for the tournament or are a local, we wish you tremendous luck! Stop by and see us so we can help you get rigged up with any of your bait and tackle needs.

The piers continue to have good action with reports of Bluefish, Puppy Drum, Spot, and Sea Mullet. There has also been some reports of Flounder and a few smaller Speckled Trout. With the wind continuing out the North East, we are still seeing choppy, but fishable conditions.

Surf fishing are also reporting Bluefish, Spot, Sea Muller, and Puppy Drum. The current conditions have made surf fishing a bit tricky, but if you are geared up with sinkers and fresh bait you should be in good shape.

The inshore fishing has been really good with some Bluefish, big Drum, Puppy Drum, and Flounder. The Speckled Trout has picked back as well with anglers finding some good sized ones in some honey holes. Sheepshead fishing continues to be popular and productive with the warm sound waters.

Offshore fishing has also been good fishing especially for White Marlin and Mahis!
