Action All Over the Beach
The fish sure are biting and there was action from Ocracoke to Carova! The piers had an epic weekend with reports of Cobia, Bluefish, Puppy Drum, Sea Mullet, Sheepshead, Triggerfish, and Spanish. The surf fisherman have also been catching quite the variety of fish with reports of Bluefish, Puppy Drum, Sea Mullet, and Pompano on the southern beaches!
The nearshore anglers had good reports of Drum, Cobia, Spanish, Triggerfish, Bonita, Bluefish, and Black Sea Bass. It has been beautiful weather for boats to make it out past the inlet and have been able to come home with dinner!
Inshore anglers have been enjoying a nice bite as well! There have been good reports of Trout bites along with Puppy Drum, Bluefish, and Sheepshead. We have live Fiddlers and frozen clams if you’re headed out in search of the good Sheepshead bite we’ve had sporadically!
The offshore fleet has continued to catch nice Tunas! There have been plenty of Yellowfins and Big Eyes around! They have also been catching nice Mahis and Wahoo!
