Yesterday was another epic day for the Cobia fisherman! Lots of fish were seen off of Jennette’s Pier with lots of anglers hooking up with dinner! The pier had some action too. There’s no telling where they might be when nearshore conditions improve, but hopefully we’ll see some more caught over the weekend!

Inshore fishing continues to be great Trout and Bluefish fishing. Capt. Brian King with Reelistic Fishing Charters had quite a few successful trips this week with full coolers! Matt Lusk had a charter in Kitty Hawk Bay this morning with a UNREAL catch!! On a 1000 size trout reel and a popping cork, Stevie caught a Jack Crevalle!! While that wasn’t the targeted species, it made for a lifetime of memories for Captain Matt and his charter!

Today’s conditions were not ideal on the northern beaches with a steady North wind and heavy cloud coverage, but hopefully the wind will die out and we’ll see better conditions for the weekend even with a chance of some rain. The southern beaches are still catching Puppy Drum, Black Drum, Speckled Trout and Sea Mullet.
