Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

We’re fighting off the last of our lingering Winter Blues by catching the Blues! From Ocracoke to Duck, some as big as 11lbs, the Bluefish are showing up! Make sure you have your metal spoons and fresh cut bait. Fisher Midgett has entered yet another nice fish into our Coastal Angler Series tournament for the Bluefish category!

There are reports of Big Drum on the beaches further down south. Jason Wolf got his hands on one the other night including a nice Bluefish as well! Puppy Drum, Sea Mullet, Puffers, and Black Drum are also being caught in the surf. You may even find some Speckled Trout if you hit the beach before sun up. We’ve also heard reports from the Bonner Bridge that some Sheepshead have started to show up.

Fishing in the sound has been consistent with Speckled Trout and Puppy Drum. The Trout bite has been pretty hot in Kitty Hawk Bay.  There are Blues in the sound too along with quite a few Catfish as well.

Yellowfin fishing has been great for the offshore fleet. There have been a few Dolphin mixed.
