Bluefish From the Surf
Today was another beautiful yet productive day of fishing. As we look ahead to this coming week, it looks as though we will have favorable conditions to catch some fish!
Today, there were more reports of Bluefish caught from the surf. Ranging from Nags Head to Hatteras, there have been nice catches all along our beaches. There were some nice Puppy Drum mixed about as well. Last night, there was a good report of big Drum being caught from the surf down at the Point.
Inshore fishing has proven to be good for some nice Drum and Trout. Lyle has been getting after them and had nice catches of both Trout and Puppy Drum this past week. @hyde_guides continues to take advantage of this beautiful Spring weather and fishing. We sure hope it continues!
We still have some hunters getting after the gobblers. Congrats to @codyweaver24 on his Turkey he got this weekend!
Again, we would like to welcome all anglers fishing in the Ocracoke tournament this upcoming week. The Ocracoke Invitational Surf Fishing Tournament (OISFT) will take place this upcoming Thursday and Friday. We are taking bait orders for teams looking for fresh mullet, shrimp, bloodworms, etc. Stop by with your team’s order and cooler!
