Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Fishing Report
We’ve been busy working on winter projects and trying to stay warm this winter. It’s gloomy and chilly again here in Nags Head, but at least it’s not snowing!
The best fishing right now is for Bluefins. We had a good run when the weather didn’t feel subzero, but it looks like we’re finally getting back to normal seasonal temperatures. Boats are still going hard and lots of nice Tunas are being caught. Tyler and his crew went out catching Bluefins! Most were too big, but still had some keepers mixed in. Check out some of the Tunas caught from January and February!
The inshore fishing has been decent fishing on days when people have gone out and given it a shot. There have been reports of Stripers and Trout around. @mott_ridge_charters @saltywatersobxfishing @hyde_guides
Unfortunately, there is not much to report for surf fishing. The most we’ve heard were some scattered Puppy Drum down around Hatteras Inlet. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer until the weather and water temps warm up!
