We have had some unseasonably warm weather the past few days, and folks have been taking advantage of it and doing some fishing! It looks like we have some chilly days ahead this week, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be some fish being caught!

TW’s Trusted Captain Brian King of @reelisticfishingcharters has been on the Speckled Trout and Striper lately! If you are looking to go on an inshore charter, Capt. Brian has days available year round and will put you on the fish! He is out there nearly every day putting in the work to stay on the fish to make sure his customers have the best chance for success.

Grab one of his cards off the wall next time you are in the shop or look him up online, Capt. Brian will get you out on the water for an awesome fishing experience!

We have been hearing of a few Puppy Drum being caught near Oregon Inlet at ramps 2 and 4 the last few days. There are still plenty of Dogfish and Skates out there if you are just looking to catch something. If you are not afraid of a little drive, there have been reports of Black Drum and Puppy Drum in Hatteras and down on Ocracoke.

Although commercial season has closed for Bluefin Tuna, they should hang around for the next month. Recreational and Charter boats can still keep 1 fish per day under 73 inches and catch and release the giants! We also saw a good showing of Yellowfins the last two days from a couple of boats in the charter fleet!
