Cobia, Bluefish, Drum, Trout, You Name It!
It was an exciting weekend jammed packed with lots of fish! Cobia, Bluefish, Drum, Trout, you name it!
The boats fishing nearshore this weekend caught Cobia, Red Drum, Black Drum and Spanish! Fischer Smith, 10 years old, caught a nice Cobia on @absolut_charters this weekend. @outcastfishingobx was also able to get some Cobia action as well.
There has been plenty of action inshore lately! Lots of Drum, Speckled Trout, and Bluefish. There have been a few Sheepshead occasionally caught around the bridges, but it’s been a slow start! Capt. Brian King on @reelisticfishingcharters caught a stud Speckled Trout! @mott_ridge_charters has been busy catching the Stripers further inland, but has some availability on inshore charters in Manteo coming up this month. Capt. Ben Morris with @saltywatersobxfishing has been putting his charters on the inshore Bluefish!
The piers and surf fishing have had good reports of Bluefish, Sea Mullet, and Puppy Drum. Dilon Mills has been having a time with the Bluefish on the pier! It’s looking like a decent week ahead weather wise. Might be a little wet tomorrow, but mid week should be beautiful!
The offshore boats have been catching nice Yellowfins, Wahoo, and Dolphin! Hopefully we’ll start to see some more Marlin showing up!
