Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

It was a perfect start to summer here on the Outer Banks… paradise on earth.

We saw quite a variety of fish caught from the piers this week!  Spot, Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Spanish, Triggerfish and Sheepshead were all reported on the piers throughout the week. Nags Head Pier even reported a Cobia today!

There have been a bunch of fish caught from the surf as well! We saw Sea Mullet, Puppy Drum, and Bluefish caught from the beach this week. The Smith family had a great start to the week with Puppy Drum and Trout.

Trout and Bluefish continue to be caught in the sound. There have been reports of a few Drum and Sheepshead as well.

The offshore fishing has been pretty consistent lately with Dolphin, Yellowfin, and Wahoo. Fin Planner had a few good trips this week with an epic amount of Dolphin, some Tuna, and a Wahoo too! Nearshore fishing boats have been catching Triggerfish and Amberjacks. Andrew Anderson caught a wahoo on the Miss Hatteras the other morning on a setup bought at the store Monday.
