Surf Fishing Report:
Bluefish, Spot and Sea Mullet.

The winds are NE at 8 and the water temp is 77 degrees. Surf is up this morning with the waves being 3-4 ft. With the upcoming tropical depression there is a high threat of rip currents in the forecast along all our area beaches. Having said that, it is a beautiful day on the Outer Banks.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues and Spades.

Nags Head: Spot.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Sand Perch, Bar Jack, Pinfish and a 33 in Albacore

Outer Banks: Good run of Blues and Spot.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore trolling boats caught Spanish and Bluefish. Inshore had 2 Cobia with Bluefish, Spanish, Albacore and Bonita.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Only a couple of boats sailed and they found plenty of Yellowfin. Blackfin and Tilefish were also caught.
