Surf Fishing Report:
There were some Drum caught at Oregon Inlet yesterday and Dennie Bomar has caught his 1st of the day this morning. There were also scattered Bluefish, Spot and Sea Mullet on the beaches. Trout were also caught though the water was really muddy. Water is not as bad today.

Ayden Graves caught his 1st Puppy Drum yesterday in Collington Harbor. He reeled the fish in with no help. A good fight for a little guy.

The winds are W at 5 and the water is 66 degrees. Water is flat, no wind and a sunny day.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported no report.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot, Trout and Mullet. Caught approx. 16 Red Drum yesterday.

Nags Head: Sea Mullet, Trout and 3 Reds early.

Jennette’s: Nice Blues, Trout, 3 big Drum. Caught between 80 and 90 Red Drum yesterday from morning to night.

Outer Banks: Small Drum one keeper, Trout, Black Drum and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore charters caught good numbers of Bluefish, Albacore and Drum. Nearshore landed a few albacore and good catches of Bluefish.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
It was a good day for Wahoo. A good amount were caught weighing in from 26 lbs to over 40 lbs. A good amount of blackfin were caught and also a few Dolphin and Yellowfin.
