In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Lots of Sea Mullet on all the beaches. Bluefish and Puppy Drum at the point.  Overall surf fishing was slow.

 

The winds are N at 12 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Cloudy, chilly morning, rough Ocean.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported keeper Trout at day break and some Spot.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Small Trout.

Nags Head: Small Trout.

Jennette’s: Puppy Drum, Blues and Sea Mullet.

Outer Banks: Keeper Puppy Drum, lots of Sea Mullet, 16 oz Flounder and Spot.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Near shore had catches of Spanish, Blues, Spanish mackerel, Albacore, Drum and a 75 lb Shark. Inshore decked Striper and Red Drum. There were also some flags flying.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet limited out with Dolphin, plenty of Yellowfin, one 75 pounder, and Big-eye.
