Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishermen are catching Bluefish.
Douglas Haber Jr. caught his first fish with a new 4 ft rod, found just for him by Justin at TW’s. (Picture).
The winds are W at 7 and the water temp is 72 degrees. Another nice day, water is clear and calm.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Trout with a few keepers, Stripers, small Black Drum, Spot and Croaker.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spadefish, Bluefish, Spanish and Pompano.
Nags Head: Bluefish and a few Spanish.
Jennette’s: Slow.
Outer Banks: Spanish, Bluefish and Pompano. Lost a Cobia.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
The charter boats had another big day catching a great amount of Bluefish, some Spanish and Amberjack. Cobia were also caught. Miss Oregon Inlet decked Croaker, Sea Bass, Mullet, Puffers and Bluefish.
Offshore Boats Report:
The Yellowfin have been massive in size the last several days and plenty of them. A couple of Wahoo were caught as well. Gaffer Dolphin fishing is fair.
