Surf Fishing Report:
About the only thing we have to report happening on our beaches are cold-stunned Sea Turtles. As of Jan 23rd, 37 Turtles have been treated at the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island. This happens when the water temp drops quickly and the Turtles don’t get a chance to make it back to warm water in the Gulf Stream.
A few spinney dog sharks are still being reported.
The winds are N at 14 and the water temp is 44 degrees. Parley sunny, windy, choppy Ocean.
