Surf Fishing Report:
Bluefish are scattered along our beaches. Roger Love had a great fight with a hunk of Bluefish and was surprised to find out that during the fight the fish was attacked and had battle scars from a shark. (Picture).

The water is not as flat this morning. It might curb the Stingrays and Skates some.

The winds are NNE at 15 and the water temp is 73 degrees. Sun is shining, expecting showers later today.


Sound Fishing Report:The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway continues catching small Trout, Strippers, small Black Drum, Spot and Croakers. The Sheepshead bite has been good on the Oregon Inlet Bridge catwalk.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Triggers, Spanish and Blues.

Nags Head: Trout and Bluefish.

Jennette’s: No contact.  

Outer Banks: Blues, Spot, Sheepshead, Spanish, Triggers and Spadefish.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore had another fantastic day with catches of Amberjack, King Mackerel, Bluefish and Spanish. Inshore also had the same kind of a day catching Spanish, Sea Bass, Hake, Trout, Flounder, Bluefish, Bonita and Hammerhead Sharks.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Dolphin showed again in full force.  Boats caught their limits. The Blackfin and Yellowfin were also piled up in the fleets boxes. There was a Sailfish release also.
