Surf Fishing Report:
Rough surf kept the fishing at a standstill this weekend. A few people fishing further south did catch. (Pictures).

The winds are NW at 9 and the water temp is 72 degrees. The first day of summer has brought us a beautiful day. The wind is light; water is clear and looking good for catching fish.

Sound Fishing Report:

The anglers fishing the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway are catching small Trout, small Black Drum, throwback Rockfish, Croakers and Spot.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout, Bluefish and Spanish.

Nags Head: Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet and small Flounder.

Outer Banks: Bluefish, Spanish, Spadefish, Sea Mullet and small Flounder.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore and inshore had a slow day. A few Blues and Trout were caught.

Offshore Boats Report:
The weather kept the offshore charter boats in the creek again yesterday. Looking good for today.
