Fishing Report:
The Thunderstorms and wind kept people off the beach most of the day and kept the fleet in the creek. The weather cleared after lunch and some fishing news did trickle in.
Bluefish were scattered on Hatteras Island and Sea Mullet and Blow toads were reported at the point with a couple of big Drum as well.
The piers were catching Blow toads, Shad and a couple of Bluefish. Avalon had an early morning bite of small Trout with a couple of keepers. One was 19 in. Jennette’s is catching Puffers and Shad this morning.
The winds are NE at 15 and the water temp is 52 degrees. Sunny, windy, rough surf.
