Surf Fishing Report:
A few Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Croaker and a shark ever so often. Gabe caught his first fish ever in Kitty Hawk. Nice chest. Proud!

The winds are N at 6 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Water is flat and clear. Cloudy day with rain in forecast.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Black Drum, Stripers, Croaker and small Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Croaker, Pompano, Triggers and Spadefish.

Nags Head: Triggers.

Jennette’s: Bluefish and Spadefish.

Outer Banks: Croaker, Bluefish, Flounder and Sand Perch.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The inshore boats caught Trout and Stripers. The nearshore boats hauled in great numbers of Bluefish, plus Spanish and Albacore. Miss Oregon Inlet caught Croaker, Sea Bass, Puffers and Gray Trout.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The bluewater fleet fished the rough water and had a fair day. They caught 2 citation Bigeye Tuna, one weighed 175 lbs. Good numbers of Wahoo, some nice Dolphin, Bonita and fat Yellowfin as well.
