Fishing Report:
I would say the big news would be 35 in Bluefish were hitting lures at the Cape. A few Puppies Sea Mullet and Toads were caught as well. Frisco beaches also reported Bluefish.
Trout has been the big news the last several days in Avalon and Nags head but I’m sure they are scattered on all the beaches north of the Bridge. Also Sea Mullet and Toads.
Several blow days have kept the blue water fleet in but they did well yesterday catching Yellowfin, Dolphin and Wahoo. Near shore trolling boats are filling their boxes with Bluefish. Trout fishing is fair in the sound and the Little Bridge fishermen are catching a fair amount of keeper Trout.
Jennette’s Pier had a good run of Bluefish this morning. A small Flounder, Trout and Bluefish. No contact with Avalon Pier.

The winds are SW at 6 and the water temp is 57 degrees. Sunny, calm winds, flat Ocean.
