Surf Fishing Report:
This morning I decided it was time to go to the summer format. We have another beautiful day on this sand bar with weekenders already out enjoying the beach this morning.
Ramp 48 and 38 had a good Sea Mullet bite The Point also reported good catches of Blues on metal, Spanish, some citation Drum, citation slot Black Drum and Pompano and some Kings further on the south beaches.
We are catching Croaker, Spot, Sea Mullet and Bluefish. The ocean is really muddy so I haven’t heard of Trout recently.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and more Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Skate.
Nags Head: Mullet, Bluefish, Trout. First report from them this season. I thought they were never going to open there fishing counter.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Croaker, Sea Mullet and Spot.
Outer Banks: Bluefish and Spot.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inshore caught loads of Bluefish and nearshore caught Cobia and Black tip Shark.

Offshore Boats Report:
There was a meat fish slam reported of Dolphin, Yellowfin, Tuna and Wahoo.

The winds are SW at 9 and the water temp is 57 degrees. Mostly sunny, light winds, flat glassy Ocean.
