Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing was slow overall but there were some Sea Mullet and Bluefish caught along the Hatteras Island beaches. The same for this area north of the Bridge. Ocean is Ocean clear this morning. Should be a good Bluefish day with some Trout.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported good Trout fishing with some slots caught early this morning.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish.
Nags Head: Bluefish and a couple of Spanish.
Jennette’s: Bluefish.
Outer Banks: Bluefish on lures.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Bluefish caught in the inlet with some Sheepshead. Sound fishing has good Trout fishing.
Offshore Boats Report:
Bluewater anglers brought home Yellowfin, Mahi and some King Mackerel
The winds are SE at 4 and the water temp is 61 degrees. Sunny, breezy, calm winds, nice clean swells.
