Surf Fishing Report:
Sunday was not great. The water is clearing slowly this morning so look for Bluefish and some Trout bites and Sea Mullet. You can bet on a pretty good Sea Mullet bite. The piers are catching some big ones with already some citations.
I’m still getting letters about the fishing report being sporadic. So for all of you that is missing the reports that has addressed that issue I am having health issues. The fishing will most likely be late every day and sometimes not at all on certain days. All pictures will be shown at some time. And I might add it will be a quick report and to the point.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported lots of Trout and there have already keepers early this morning.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout, Mullet, and a couple of Spanish. The first I have heard this far north.
Nags Head: Flounder, Trout, Mullet and Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Sea Mullet and keeper Trout.
Outer Banks: Mullet, Trout and Spot.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
No report.

Offshore Boats Report:
Good catches of Mahi and some Tuna were caught yesterday. Rough ride for the fleet.

The winds are N at 4 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Mostly cloudy, light winds, messy swells.
