Surf Fishing Report:
Bluefish and Spanish were hitting on lures in Buxton. Large Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Pompano were scattered on the all the beaches.
North beach’s caught some Trout and Sea Mullet and Donald Allen caught that whopping big Black Drum.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported more Trout this morning day break with some keepers.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish, Spanish, Black Drum, Sea Mullet and a 21 inch Trout.
Nags Head: Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Bluefish.
Outer Banks: Bluefish.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inshore open boats fishing the sound catching Trout. Nearshore Spanish and Bluefish.
Offshore Boats Report:
Only few boats fished due to conditions. Yellowfin, Dolphin and Tilefish bottom fishing.
The winds are NW at 12 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Mostly sunny, breezy, weak wind swell.
