Surf Fishing Report:
Bluefish were plentiful yesterday. Anglers were beaching double headers. There should be more of the same today with some bottom fish.

The winds are ESE at 4 and the water temp is 73 degrees. It is a beautiful day on the Outer Banks. No wind, small swells and the water is warm. People on the beach and in the water early this morning.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported an 18 in Flounder caught this morning. Other than that, it’s the same small Trout, Rockfish, Pigfish and Black Drum.
Scott and Clayton Vinson had some Flounder catches from the Oregon Inlet Bridge catwalk using a Cajun Chicken 5” Jerkshad Gulp purchased from TW’s sale rack. Clayton managed to hang in with his broken collarbone.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues, Flounder and Amberjack.

Nags Head: A good Spanish and Bluefish bite, and also Sheepshead.

Jennette’s: No contact.

Outer Banks: Some Bluefish and a few Spanish. The pier reported a weekend keeper Puppy Drum.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The Spanish and Bluefish continue to be good for the Inshore and nearshore fleet. The nearshore fleet from Pirates Cove Marina reported Cobia, Amberjack and Mahi Mahi.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet brought in plenty of Yellowfin, good amount of Dolphin and some Bigeye and Wahoo.
