Surf Fishing Report:
Scattered Bluefish, Sea Mullet and a few Croakers. Buddy Branner caught a 33 in Drum at Oregon Inlet the weekend. It was a birthday catch.

The winds are SSW at 12 and the water temp is 72 degrees. The water is calm and clear, the wind is light and the sun is bright.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Anglers on the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway are catching Trout and Black Drum.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Nice Spanish in the 24 in range, Pompano, Blues and small Cobia.

Nags Head: Blues.

Jennette’s: Sand Perch, Pigfish, a couple of Spanish and some Triggers.

Outer Banks: Blues, few Croakers, and some Sea Mullet

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The inshore charters caught Bluefish, Speckle Trout and Drum. Nearshore decked plenty Bluefish, Spanish and some Albacore. Miss Oregon Inlet headboat caught Sea Robin, Croaker, Bluefish, Sea Bass, Gray Trout, Sea Mullet and Sharks.

Hayden Dougherty caught his first Cobia out of Oregon Inlet. Nice size. Good job.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Another day of catching good size Yellowfin and a good amount of Dolphin. A few Blackfin and some giant Wahoo, one 80 lb citation. A Sailfish and 2 White Marlin were released.
